Who We Are

Arthur H. Wolf created WOLF Consulting in 2004, based on his long Art Wolfexperience as an institutional leader, trustee, curator, administrator, fund-raiser, author, public speaker, consultant, and advisor. Trained as an anthropologist at the universities of Nebraska and Arizona, he maintains broad interests in the arts and humanities. Art has been the leader of several acclaimed regional institutions in the Western U.S. including the Museum of the Rockies and The High Desert Museum. His long-term dedication to the encouragement of the highest standards and best practices of the field is documented by his record of bringing three institutions to their initial AAM Accreditation and preparing another for its subsequent accreditation. For six years he was a member of the AAM Accreditation Commission, participating in the reviews of hundreds of museums. Art has experience in private non-profit, university and state museums featuring multiple disciplines and diverse audiences and has worked with Native American, Hispanic, Agricultural/Ranching, Hunting, Environmental, Nuclear, and other subcultures of the New West. He has served the profession at the state, regional, national and international levels as a founder, board member, advocate and leader. Art has also participated actively in community life across the West in service organizations and on boards, steering committees, and study groups. A complete resume is available on request.

WOLF Consulting can call on a distinguished group of associates when the size or complexity of a project warrants.
