- Desert Space Foundation, Las Vegas, NV – Review of Bylaws and Documents/Advice on Strategic Planning
- Harvard University Extension School, Cambridge, MA – Thesis Director, ALM in Museum Studies (3 in progress)
- Art will facilitate an action workshop, Sustaining Your Programs By Aligning Your Mission with Partners, during the Our Places Tell Stories conference on February 25th at the Las Vegas Springs Preserve.
- Art will present in a session entitled Take This Job and Love It, at the Texas Association of Museums conference in College Station on March 16th.
- WOLF Consulting is a major sponsor of the AAM’s second annual Museum Advocacy Days on March 22-23 in Washington, DC, and Art will be attending as the Chair of the MPMA Advocacy Committee.
- Art will lead an AAM Accreditation Visiting Committee to a Midwestern museum seeking subsequent Accreditation in mid-April.
- Art will be attending the 104th Annual Meeting of the American Association of Museums, Museums Without Borders, from May 23-26 in Los Angeles.
• Recent News and Events
- Art hosted two roundtable discussions at the 40th Anniversary Meeting of the New Mexico Association of Museums, November 4-6 in Santa Fe. Hot Topics was held at the Hotel Santa Fe and Working with Consultants was held at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture.
- Art was very active at the Mountain-Plains Museums Association meetings in Cheyenne, WY, October 5-9. In addition to chairing a meeting of the MPMA Advocacy Committee, he presented in a roundtable session at the Emerging Museum Professionals luncheon and in three other sessions: Getting Support for Museums, One Congressman at a Time; A Day in the Life: What a Museum Professional Actually Does; and When to Strike the Tents: Should Some Museums Close?
- Art became the Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Desert Wetlands Conservancy in September. He also serves as the Facebook Page Administrator for the DWC.
